Plumas County Workshops & Classes

September is almost here and with that a few courses and workshops I facilitate will be starting up again.

Quincy:

The Advanced Writing Workshop is starting up in Quincy on September 12th. We meet twice a month in person and once a month one on one. Writers have weekly deadlines to keep and writing assignments and should be working on a long term project to get the most out of this class. Two alumni from the class now have ebooks of their fiction in the wings! Class runs to December. Email me for details.

At Feather River College in the Community Education department, I’ll be hosting a Southeast Asian Film & Colonial Decay film & culture series. We’ll watch some interesting films in LRC 103 (that’s the new building and it’s very great sound system and screens). 6-9 pm on Fridays starting September 21st.

Greenville:

In Greenville I’ll be hosting a business writing workshop on Saturday, September 15th from noon -3 pm downtown at 111 Crescent Hwy. Email for details.

Chester:

In Chester this fall I’ll be teaching my memoir writing workshop back at B&B Booksellers. TBA for date and time. Again, Email for details.

Email is writerchickmama@gmail.com
