Help Bruce & Katie

Two of my cousin’s beautiful young children have Childhood Mitochondrial Disease. What’s that?

Childhood Mitochondrial Disease. She and her husband tirelessly search for answers and better ways to keep their children alive and healthy. They’ve written about it here Bruce & Katie’s Story.

At the end of this month, this very financially strapped family has the chance to fly to Texas from California where studies are being done on this very rare and still very unknown disease. Please consider helping them make this journey.

At the end of their blog is a paypal URL that you have to cut and paste into your own PayPal account (their new site isn’t completely functional yet). Please consider helping them and helping science discover more about this rare disease. There are only eight cases right now in the country.
